Our Youth's Musical Groups

Outside our worship services, some of the teens from our youth participate in gospel musical groups. These groups record and perform their music to reach other youth while maintaining the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. So far, our youth has been involved with the gospel rap genre and has formed two rap groups which have performed at many church events.

TNG Boiz

The TNG Boiz is a Christian rap duo made up of brothers Ebenezer "Abu" and Benyam "Benu". The acronym TNG represents “The New Generation”, showing their coming of age into evangelizing the message of the cross. Since their formation in  2007, they have been writing music and have performed at the United Youth Conferences, the Oromo Youth Conference, and the Ethiopian New Year Celebration 2008 in the twin cities. After a long anticipation, they will be releasing their debut album at the third United Youth Conference in March 2009.

Y.U.N.G Diciples

The Y.U.N.G Disciples are a gospel rap trio made up of Tadele "T-Shine", Yossef "J Price", and Elias "Breeze-E". They formed in 2008 and released their single "John 3:16" during their first performance ever at the Oromo Youth Conference 2008. They have also collaborated with the TNG Boiz and have been featured on the new TNG Boiz album.   These teens use their love for rap music to glorify the Lord in their lyrics and attatch their message to a catchy beat.
